May 14., 2012. - RC-East operational update

BAGRAM, Afghanistan – Afghan forces detained nine suspects during operations in eastern Afghanistan throughout the past 24 hours, May 14.

Nangarhar province
Insurgents engaged an Afghan civilian fuel truck with small arms fire in the village of Pachir Wa Agam district Wednesday, wounding one Afghan civilian. Afghan Uniform Police detained nine individuals suspected to be involved in the attack. The Afghan civilian was brought to a local hospital for treatment.

Operations in RC-East are still ongoing.
