30 armed insurgents killed by Afghan National Police

Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army, NDS and Coalition Forces launched six joint clearance operations in Baghlan, Kandahar, Zabul, Logar and Ghazni provinces.

As a result of these operations, 30 armed insurgents were killed by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated five rocket launchers, two PKM machine guns, nine AK-47 assault rifles with 23 magazines, one pistol, three radio handsets, 23 heavy rounds, 1360 light rounds, nine different types of mines, 23 hand grenades, 210 kilograms of explosive materials, nine motorbikes and one vehicle.

During the same 24 hour period, Afghan National Police discovered and defused two anti-vehicle mines and an explosives rigged motorbike as a result of security operations in Badakhshan, Nimroz and Badghis provinces.

The Afghan National Police dedicate their lives to protecting the people.
 
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained a man accused of murder in the Sar Asiab region, 6th Districts of Kabul-City.
