6 killed in blast along Kabul-Kandahar road

Ghazni City (PAN): Six people and three others were injured in a roadside bomb blast on Tuesday morning along the Kabul-Kandahar Highway in the Salar area of Saidabad district in Maidan Wardak province.

Governor’s spokesperson Shahidullah Said told Pajhwok Afghan News that the passenger car was travelling from Kabul to Ghazni Province when it hit a roadside bomb at about 7.30 am.

He said a woman and two children were among the dead.

 A doctor at the Ghazni hospital, Dr Baza Ahmed confirmed that six died and three were injured in the blast, while few of the injured victims are in critical condition.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
