"Two International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members were injured following a helicopter crash in western Afghanistan today," the NATO-led ISAF said in the statement.
The brief statement did not provide details about the incident, only saying "the cause of the crash is under investigation."
In a separate development, an ISAF soldier was killed in an insurgent attack in restive southern part of the country on Tuesday, the ISAF confirmed in another statement.
However, the statement gave neither the nationality of the victim nor the details about the attack under the ISAF policy.
Troops mostly from Italy have been serving in western Afghanistan while U.S., British and Australian forces have been stationed in southern part of the insurgency-hit country within the framework of 130,000-strong ISAF forces.
The Taliban-led insurgency has been rampant since the militant group launched an annual spring offensive dubbed "Al-Farooq" from May 3 against Afghan and NATO-led troops stationed in the country.
