Local authorities confirmed the report however they did not disclose further information regarding the exact number of casualties as a result of the incident.
In the meantime reports suggest district chief for Alisheng Farid was killed following the incident along with three others who were accompanying him while he on his way towards the government compound.
No group including the Taliban militants have so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
