In Several Joint Clearance Operations, Four Armed Taliban Killed

Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army, NDS and Coalition Forces launched three joint clearance operations in Kabul, Paktiya and Helmand provinces.

As a result of these operations, four armed Taliban were killed, two wounded and 15 others were arrested by Afghan National Security Forces.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated two PKM machine guns, one AK-47 assault rifle, two heavy rounds, one anti-vehicle mine, one radio handset and one motorcycle.

Additionally, Afghan National Police arrested a suspect carrying a BM-1 round in the Jaldak village, Kohistan District of Kapisa province, yesterday.
 
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained two suspects accused of murder and theft in the Dah Sabz and 9th District of Kabul-City.
